FTI Technician
- Full time onsite in hangar, working on the test aircraft.
- Duration, initially 1 year, but expected to be extended.
- Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Install and integrate flight test instrumentation systems and sensors into flight test and prototype aircraft.
- Perform cabling and wiring tasks to ensure proper functionality and safety of the instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain avionics and instrumentation systems.
- Collaboration with engineering teams to ensure accurate data acquisition and system performance.
- Documentation of installation processes and maintenance of detailed records of the work performed.
- Ensuring compliance with EASA regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
- EASA Part 66 – B2 license (preferred) or proof of work in a similar role ideally on a test air vehicle development environment.
- Experience in the installation and integration of flight test instrumentation systems and sensors.
- Experience in cabling and wiring for flight test/prototype aircraft.
- In-depth understanding of avionics and instrumentation systems.
- Proactive/creative in problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
