FTI Technician

  • Full time onsite in hangar, working on the test aircraft.
  •  Duration, initially 1 year, but expected to be extended.
  • Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Install and integrate flight test instrumentation systems and sensors into flight test and prototype aircraft.
  • Perform cabling and wiring tasks to ensure proper functionality and safety of the instrumentation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain avionics and instrumentation systems.
  • Collaboration with engineering teams to ensure accurate data acquisition and system performance.
  • Documentation of installation processes and maintenance of detailed records of the work performed.
  • Ensuring compliance with EASA regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • EASA Part 66 – B2 license (preferred) or proof of work in a similar role ideally on a test air vehicle development environment.
  • Experience in the installation and integration of flight test instrumentation systems and sensors.
  • Experience in cabling and wiring for flight test/prototype aircraft.
  • In-depth understanding of avionics and instrumentation systems.
  • Proactive/creative in problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills.
