{"id":357,"date":"2024-12-26T11:53:12","date_gmt":"2024-12-26T10:53:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mglaerospace.com\/?p=357"},"modified":"2025-01-16T22:12:31","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T21:12:31","slug":"structure-analysis-engineer-space","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mglaerospace.com\/index.php\/2024\/12\/26\/structure-analysis-engineer-space\/","title":{"rendered":"Structure Analysis Engineer (Space)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal (On-site)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Your mission<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The analysis engineer performs mechanical analyses and support the project with analysis competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform mechanical analyses of central tubes for spacecrafts and adapter systems, separation systems and dispenser systems that are used to launch spacecrafts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strength analyses with static, dynamic, and thermal loads, stiffness and modal analyses, response analyses, buckling analyses, load capability analyses including non-linear contact problems, dimensioning of screw joints and damage tolerance analyses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform associated documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specifying, predicting, participating in, and evaluating tests (mainly static load tests as part of the product qualification), as well as correlation of the analysis model with the obtained test results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review models, analyses and documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present performed analyses for customers (mostly in English)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work in analysis tools such as Abaqus, Nastran, Femap and HyperWorks (write scripts in Python)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work in close collaboration with colleagues in smaller project groups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop concepts and estimate price for marketing and sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor or Master of Science within Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from mechanical analysis work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from writing technical reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from FE (Finite Element) analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from analysis tools such as Abaqus, Nastran, Femap and HyperWorks, Python<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from analysis of composite structures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from developing methods and processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience from SCRUM\/agile methods in teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driven with the ability to work independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team oriented, communicative, and wanting to help your colleagues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Openminded and curious to new ideas, challenging old methods, continuously working with improvements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pro-active and solution oriented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analytical and structured<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driven and goal oriented, always striving to reach targets and results together with the team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivated to develop the department and future products together with the team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The team<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;ll join a dynamic team , where your role will involve ensuring smooth logistics, efficient production, and timely delivery of our top-notch products.
