You will be part of the Part-21J Design Organization (DO) and its Item &amp; System team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Definition\/update of the system architecture, requirements and interfaces according to the upper level requirements (including certification and safety requirements)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide verification and compliance demonstration evidences (analysis, test procedures, ground and\/or flight test procedures, &#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support aircraft level integration activities including redaction of manuals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation \/ amending the engineering content of deliverables (all development related documentation such as reports, analysis, test procedures, etc.) during development activities and compliance demonstration (Under EASA, FAA,&#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the overall Electrical Propulsion System meets the specified safety and certification compliance requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform Analysis of the Electrical Network of new electric propulsion systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform bench, ground and flight tests of new electric propulsion systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge on Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Your Profile:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree (min. bachelor) in a relevant engineering discipline (System engineering, Aerospace engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Demonstrated experience and expertise typically 5+ years with Aicraft Systems, Electrical Networks and\/or Power Electronics.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of aviation standards (SAE ARP, DO-160, DO-178, MIL, ISO, &#8230;) in the field of activity. Equivalent standards in other industries also considered (e.g. Automotive, Railway, Medical)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic understanding of EASA Part 21, EASA Certification Specifications and certification principles would be an advantage (MDL, TC, SB &#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with electronic communication protocols would be an advantage (ICD&#8217;s, RS485, RS232,&#8230;).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with safety in aerospace (MTBF, MTTR, SSA; FMEA,&#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EMI\/EMC basic knowledge is a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to follow through and bring projects to its completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Target-oriented, with analytic problem-solving capabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well organized including the ability to properly document<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity to prioritize, manage time effectively and multi-task<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in English (oral and written), French an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Work Permit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately only CH or EU passport holders can be accepted as candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland (On-site) EPU (Electrical Propulsion Unit) System Engineer, You will be responsible for the system definition from design to entry in service.
